Members agreed that the minutes of the previous meeting would be regarded as an accurate record under the caveat that amendments could be made if required.

To resolve to exclude the press and public from the meeting for the following agenda items pursuant to paragraph 4 of Part 1 of the Local Government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006

CBP Pay Review

Minutes:

Ms S Ayton, Lead Reward Consultant, gave a verbal overview and presented a report on the Bucks Pay Awards for the year 2018/19.

 

Members considered the information as set out in the reports provided by officers. As a result of deliberation and discussion, Members agreed the pay award for the year July 2018 – June 2019.

SABPAC Members CONSIDERED the information provided in this report;

SABPAC Members AGREED the 2018/19 pay award for Bucks Pay (CBP) employees

SABPAC Members NOTED the Pay Policy Statement for 2018/19

7.

Pay Review LEP

Minutes:

Ms S Ayton, Lead Reward Consultant, gave a verbal overview and presented a report on the Buckinghamshire and Thames Valley Local Enterprise Partnership (BTVLEP) Chief Executive Officer remuneration.

 

Members considered the information as set out in the reports provided by officers. As a result of deliberation and discussion, Members agreed the BTVLEP CEO salary increase.

SABPAC Members CONSIDERED the information provided in the report;

SABPAC Members AGREED the proposed pay increase as part of the annual pay review

Executive Band Pay Review

Minutes:

Members considered the information provided and after deliberation agreed the pay awards for employees on executive pay bands.

9.

Coroner Pay Review

Minutes:

Ms S Ayton, Lead Reward Consultant, gave a verbal overview and presented a report on the Senior Coroner Pay Review 2018/19.

 

Members considered the information as set out in the reports provided by officers.

 

SABPAC Members CONSIDERED the information provided in the report;

AGREED a position on the pay award for the Senior Coroner and AGREED a position on the pay award for Assistant Coroners

 

10.

Car Lease Scheme

Minutes:

Ms S Woodruff, HR Policy & Reward Consultant, gave a verbal overview and presented a report on the Introduction of a Salary Sacrifice Car Benefit Scheme.

 

Members considered the information as set out in the reports provided by officers.

 

RESOLVED

SABPAC Members CONSIDERED the information provided as an update;

SABPAC Members ENDORSED the scheme as a recruitment and retention tool for three years noting that there is limited risk that costs will not be covered.
