Decision Taken

To replace the text ‘Retained Firefighters’ with ‘Firefighters’ in the list of additional locally defined Key Workers who may be eligible to register with Wycombe District Council for nomination to some schemes of Key Worker housing.

Reasons for Decision

To widen the category to include all local firefighters, as discussed at Social Improvement and Scrutiny Committee in June 2004.

Consultation Undertaken

No consultation has been carried out regarding this change, but there was consultation in 2002 prior to the adoption of the initial policy.
