Decision Taken

That the Council provide top-up funding to the RDGS (Rent Deposit Guarantee Scheme) by £9,400 in line with increased demand for this service that assists households in finding suitable alternative affordable housing.

Reasons for Decision

There has been an increase in the workload with regard to this scheme, with a higher number of clients approaching for advice and assistance through the RDGS.  This scheme assists the Council as an additional resource for households who require housing assistance.
