The Panel met to conduct a Hearing into the application by Showboat, Harleyford, Henley Road, Marlow to vary their Premises Licence, the details of which were set out in the report submitted. It was noted that the applicant had elected not to attend the Hearing. |
The Panel noted that the premise was a static moored boat comprising a bar and a beer garden. Representation had been received from both the Fire Safety and Health and Safety Officers but agreement had been reached between all parties. Given that officers had no authority to amend applications, the Panel was requested to approve the proposed conditions. |
Details of the conditions proposed were set out in the report for the Panel’s attention. In respect of health and safety an amendment to the submitted conditions was tabled from the Head of Environmental Services and these were considered by the Panel. |
During discussion on the proposed conditions the Panel took into account the licensing objectives under the Act with particular reference to public safety and the protection of children from harm. The Panel took the view that the conditions submitted in respect of the Fire Officer and Health and Safety (as amended), should be approved. |
