2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST |
Councillor J M Blanksby declared a personal interest in that his wife was an acquaintance of an employee of the applicant. |
3. INTRODUCTORY REMARKS |
The Chairman of the Panel outlined the procedure to be adopted in relation to the conduct of the Hearing. |
4. HAWKINS FARM, FRIETH ROAD, MARLOW SL7 2QU |
The Panel met to conduct a Hearing into an application for a premises licence in respect of Hawkins Farm, Frieth Road, Marlow. The requested activities were for the time limited provision for the performance of films, performance of live music, playing of recorded music, provision of facilities for dancing, provision of late night refreshments, and the sale and supply of alcohol. |
In response to the application the Panel noted that conditions had been agreed by all parties. The Licensing Officer presented the Chairman with a fax that had been received that day from the security firm that had been engaged which confirmed the security measures that were to be put into place. The Applicant had also offered to write to all neighbouring properties to advise them of the event that would be taking place. The Panel noted these issues and went into private discussion to consider its decision. |

During discussion on the application the Panel took into account the licensing objectives under the Act, national guidance and the Council’s licensing policy. After consideration the Panel were minded to approve the application as amended, but subject to conditions covering the proposals made in writing by the Applicant, including security measures, noise checks and the letter to the neighbouring properties; this to be approved in advance by the Control of Pollution Officers.
