Decision:
To formalize the realignment of sections of
Broughton Lane and Stocklake, Bierton prohibiting motor vehicle
access, a Statutory Consultation would have to be conducted and a
Traffic Regulation Order would have to be made.
Reasons for the decision:
1.The scheme aims to prevent the access of
Motor Vehicles in sections of the realigned carriageways Broughton
Lane and Stocklake. The sections of carriageways at Broughton Lane
and Stocklake were realigned during the development of a nearby
housing estate. This realignment was agreed in line with
Development Management.
2.A new carriageway was constructed and the realignment caused
sections of Broughton Lane and Stocklake to be inaccessible to
motor vehicles.
3.Funding for the consultation was secured from Development
Management.
4.The carriageways in question are already inaccessible to motor
vehicles and there were no objections received with regards to the
proposed making of this Traffic Regulation Order during the
Statutory Consultation.
