There were no apologies for absence.

The Service Director Legal and Democratic referred to the guidance on dealing with Member complaints which was noted.

That the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of items 4 to 5 in view of the nature of the proceedings that, if members of the press and public were present during these items, there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A, to the Local Government Act 1972 - Paragraph 1 – Information relating to any individual.

The Service Director Legal and Democratic referred to the arrangements for dealing with Standards Allegations under the Localism Act 2011 and the individual case in question. He provided details  of the case and Members agreed that a Hearings Sub-Committee should be convened to consider further as a contested hearing.

RESOLVED that a Hearings Sub-Committee be arranged.
