This item provides an opportunity for Members to hear from the Integrated Care Board representatives about their revised operating model, as well as hearing about their approach to system planning and developing a medium-term strategy for system sustainability, transformation and innovation.

At its January meeting, the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (BOB JHOSC) reviewed the Integrated Care Board’s draft primary care strategy and submitted formal feedback as part of the ICB’s stakeholder engagement.  At that meeting a commitment was made to return to update the Committee on the delivery plans outlined in the strategy.

The final primary care strategy was approved by the ICB in May 2024.  Members will hear about the key themes which were identified from the feedback and how this insight has been used to inform the final version of the Primary Care Strategy.

In May 2023, the BOB ICS Digital and Data Strategy was approved by the BOB Integrated Care Board.  In March 2024, the BOB JHOSC set-up a small working group to review the strategy and provided formal feedback to the ICB.  This paper forms a response to the JHOSC feedback and an update on the delivery of the ICS Digital and Data Strategy.
