Apologies were received from the Chairman, Councillor Martin Tett.  Councillor John Chilver, Vice Chairman, chaired the meeting in Councillor Tett’s absence.

To agree the minutes of the meetings held on 6 and 26 July 2022.

Resolved:  The minutes of the meetings held on 6 and 26 July 2022 were agreed as an accurate record and were signed by the Chairman.

To exclude the press and public from the meeting for the following agenda items pursuant to paragraph 4 of Part 1 of the Local Government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006.

The Members considered the request for funding to create an employee hardship fund in the confidential part of the meeting.

Resolved:  The Senior Appointments and Pay Committee agreed the recommendation to create an employee hardship fund as outlined in the report.

The Committee considered a part-time working request for an employee in the confidential part of the meeting.

Resolved:  The Senior Appointments and Pay Committee approved the part-time working request.

A verbal update on the DASS recruitment will be provided.

The Committee considered the officer’s request to relaunch the recruitment campaign for a DASS in the confidential part of the meeting.

Resolved:  The Senior Appointments and Pay Committee agreed that the DASS role be readvertised.

The Committee held a discussion, during the confidential part of the meeting, on Buckinghamshire Council becoming an ‘employer of choice’ and agreed to add this as an agenda item on the Senior Appointments and Pay Committee forward plan.
