Members noted the appointment of Councillor I Darby as the Vice -Chairman of the East Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee for the Municipal Year 2024/25.

There were none.

To agree the minutes of the meetings held on 30 April 2024 and 15 May 2024 as an accurate record.

The minutes of the meeting held on 30 April 2024 were agreed as an accurate record subject to noting that Councillor J Rush did not vote on application number PL/23/2669/FA.

The minutes of the meeting held on 15 May 2024 were agreed as an accurate record.

Demolition of existing buildings and erection of a foodstore (Use class E) with servicing, access, car parking and landscaping.

Members voted in favour of the motion to defer and delegate the application to the Director of Planning and Environment to grant planning permission, in the event that no material planning considerations were received and subject to the conditions as set out in the committee report and any others which were considered appropriate and the satisfactory completion of a Legal Agreement relating to financial contributions towards upgrading of Bus Stops and Travel Plan monitoring fees. If the Legal Agreement could not be completed, the application would be refused for such reasons as considered appropriate.

It was proposed by Councillor M Flys and seconded by Councillor I Darby

            Resolved: that the application be deferred and delegated to the Director of Planning and Environment for the reasons given above.

Please note: This planning application has been withdrawn from the Planning Committee agenda and will now be decided under the Council’s delegated decision-making procedure.  This is due to the Parish Council not being able to attend the Planning Committee meeting following their call-in of the application and in accordance with the Council’s Constitution.
