To elect the Chairman of the North Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee for the ensuing year.

It was proposed by Councillor Glover, seconded by Councillor Renshell.

Resolved

That Councillor Fealey be elected Chairman of the North Area Planning Committee for the municipal year 2020-21.

To appoint the Vice Chairman of the North Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee for the ensuing year.

It was proposed by Councillor Fealey, seconded by Councillor Renshell.

Resolved

That Councillor Mills be appointed as Vice-Chairman of the North Area Planning Committee for the municipal year 2020-21.

The Committee received a report setting out the procedural rules that would apply to virtual meetings whilst physical meetings were unable to take place.

Resolved

That the Virtual Meeting Procedural Rules be noted.

Members to declare any interests.

Resolved

That application 19/03952/APP be approved as per the Officer’s revised recommendation in the Corrigendum, and subject to the conditions in the Corrigendum with three minor changes:

1)      The wording at the beginning of condition 10 of the Corrigendum shall now read, ‘No works to the roof (other than demolition)…’.

2)      The second bullet point in the ‘Ground investigations including:’ section of condition 10 in the Corrigendum shall be replaced to read, ‘Demonstration of a one meter Freeboard from the water table to the base of the infiltration component to be recorded at time of infiltration testing’.

3)      The second bullet point under section 7.3 of the, ‘Working with the applicant/agent’ informative in the Officer’s report is to be deleted.

Members were informed that the Buckinghamshire Council’s Cabinet had agreed to allow Members discretion on the start time of future meetings of the Committee. Members discussed the possibility of future meetings starting at 2:30pm, rather than the 6:30pm start originally scheduled.

Resolved

That, in the public interest, future meetings of the North Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee would begin at 2:30pm.
