The Chairman proposed to appoint Councillor G Hollis to be the Vice-Chairman of the South Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee for the coming Municipal year.

Councillor T Egleton: PL/20/4026/FA – declared a Personal Interest under the Council’s Code of Conduct as he was a Member of the Wexham and Ivers Community Board who received a presentation from Denham Parish Council on the application. There was no discussion on the item and he did not express a view on the application and had therefore not pre-determined the application. He stated that he had an open mind and would listen to the debate and come to a decision.

 

Councillor M Bracken: PL/20/4026/FA – declared a Personal Interest under the Council’s Code of Conduct as he was a Member of the Denham, Gerrards Cross and Chalfonts Community Board who received a presentation from Denham Parish Council on the application. Redevelopment of site to provide 7 dwellings, comprising 4 open market dwellings and 3 affordable dwellings, with access, landscaping and associated works.

 

Following a full debate Members voted in favour of the motion that the application be deferred for a decision at a future Planning Committee to enable further discussion between Council Officers, Cabinet Members and the Parish Council relating to the use of the existing building for community purposes.

Members voted in favour of the motion that the application be deferred for a decision at a future Planning Committee to enable investigation of additional information received relating to land ownership.
