The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting and members and officers assisting the members were introduced. Also in attendance were the applicant, interested parties who had submitted representations on this application, the licence holder and their legal representative, a local planning authority representative, a local authority pollution representative and representatives from Thames Valley Police.  

There were no apologies for absence.

To receive any disclosure of disclosable pecuniary interests by Members relating to any items on the agenda. If any Member is uncertain as to whether an interest should be disclosed, he or she is asked if possible to contact the District Solicitor prior to the meeting.

Members are reminded that if they are declaring an interest, they should state the nature of that interest whether or not they are required to withdraw from the meeting.

To consider an application under s.51 of the Licensing Act 2003 for a review of the premises licence in respect of Soin Lounge, 74 Oxford Rd, Denham, Uxbridge UB9 4DN.

Members were asked to determine an application for the review of a premises licence, in respect of which further relevant representations had been received. The review application had been submitted by Mr Andrew Godman on behalf of Environmental Services, Buckinghamshire Council, Chiltern and South Bucks areas (“the applicant”) in respect of The Soin Lounge, 74 Oxford Road, Denham, Uxbridge, UB9 4DN (“the premises”).

Following a detailed discussion all parties present confirmed that they were satisfied that they had received a fair hearing and had nothing further to add. The Sub-Committee retired to make its decision which can be seen in the attached decision notice.
