Introductory remarks by the Chairman

The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting and members and officers assisting the members were introduced. Also in attendance were the applicant, the applicant’s representative, a witness for the applicant and several interested parties who had submitted representations on this application.  Councillor Jean Teesdale, who was speaking on behalf of two of the interested parties, was also in attendance.

Declarations of interest

To receive any disclosure of disclosable pecuniary interests by Members relating to any items on the agenda. If any Member is uncertain as to whether an interest should be disclosed, he or she is asked if possible to contact the District Solicitor prior to the meeting.

 

Members are reminded that if they are declaring an interest, they should state the nature of that interest whether or not they are required to withdraw from the meeting.

To consider an application under s.17 of the Licensing Act 2003 for a new premises licence in respect of Barn A, Rackleys Farm, Marlow Road, Cadmore End, HP14 3PP (application and report attached).

Members were asked to determine an application for a new premises licence, in respect of which relevant representations had been received. The Application had been submitted by The Sargent Charitable Trust  (“the applicant”) in relation to Barn A, Rackleys Farm, Marlow Road, Cadmore End, HP14 3PP, (“the premises”).

 

Following a detailed discussion all parties present confirmed that they were satisfied that they had received a fair hearing and had nothing further to add. The Sub-Committee retired to make its decision which can be seen in the attached decision notice.
