The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting and Members and officers were introduced.

 

Following the failure of the webcast and legal advice that the Panel should consider adjourning the hearing, the Applicant and the Interested Party requested that the matter proceed with the hearing being recorded.

 

After the Panel retired to deliberate, the Chairman stated that as it was agreed by all parties present and that efforts had been made to ensure that those watching the webcast had been able to join by alternative means, the hearing would go ahead.

 

Also in attendance were interested parties who had submitted representations on this application as well as the applicant and his agent and the representative from the Local Authority Licensing Team which had submitted a representation.

Members were asked to determine an application for the variation of a premises licence, in respect of which further relevant representations had been received. The variation application had been submitted by Mr Nadarajah Piradeepan (“the applicant”) in respect of Greenway Grocery & Post Office, 17a Green Way, Newton Longville, Buckinghamshire, MK17 0AP (“the premises”).

 

Following a detailed discussion all parties present confirmed that they were satisfied that they had received a fair hearing and had nothing further to add. The Sub-Committee retired to make its decision which can be seen in the attached decision notice.
