Householder application for construction of single storey front, part single, part two storey side and rear extensions and conversion of loft to habitable accommodation.

 

Members voted on favour of the motion to approve the application in accordance with officer recommendation subject to the addition of an informative relating to proximity to the party boundary and the erection of scaffolding:

 

·      Whilst it would appear from the application that the proposed development was to be entirely within the curtilage of the application site, care should be taken upon the commencement and during the course of building operations to ensure that no part of the development, including the foundations and roof overhang would encroach on, under or over the adjoining property.

·      During construction no scaffolding shall encroach on, under or over adjoining property unless permission has first been obtained from the owner of that property.

It was proposed by Councillor Mrs Langley and seconded by Councillor Farmer.

 

            Resolved: that the application be approved.

 

Councillor M Clarke left the meeting at 19:06 and did not take any further part in the debate or voting on the application.
