Introductions Minutes: The Chairman welcomed new local councillor M Harker who would be representing the Missendens ward.
RESOLVED The Chairman confirmed M Harker as the new Vice-Chairman of the Missenden Community Board for the commencing year.

Missendens Community Board Summary PDF 1 MB To give an overview of what took place over the last year. Minutes: The Chairman referred to the slides circulated with the agenda.
The Board had been allowed to carry over unused funding from 2019/20 as a one off given a total of £111,045.00. This must be allocated by the end of the 2020/21 financial year.

Presentation on the Environment A short presentation on project ideas from Chris Black Minutes: Mr C Black, local resident, gave a presentation on ideas for the environment action group.
Mr Black encouraged attendance at the first meeting of the environment and climate change action group including those from other action groups to discuss cross working.

Minutes: Ms L Charleston referred to the presentation circulated with the agenda.
The slides covered changes had been made the application process and details of funding applications received to date.
Mr R Gibson gave an update on behalf of the Chiltern and South Bucks Policing Issues Forum. A copy of the presentation was circulated with the agenda. It was hoped that the community board could help to drive up response rates of the forum’s resident survey particularly among young people.

Additional documents: Minutes: Nag Lane, Great Kingshill petition To address concerns raised regarding speed pneumatic tubes would be laid across the road to allow for data collection. Once this data had been analysed a plan of action would be developed.
Prestwood recreational grounds ownership/management A petition had been submitted for Buckinghamshire Council to pass ownership of the Prestwood recreational grounds to Great Missenden Parish Council who already own and manage the Prestwood Commons on the same site. The Chairman had met with Cllr S Bowles, Cabinet Member for Communities who had been positive something could be done. A proposal would be taken to the next meeting of the Devolution Committee in September 2021.
