NHS in-patient mental health care in Buckinghamshire is commissioned by the Integrated Care Board and delivered by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.  In-patient services form one part of an overall mental health urgent care pathway.  There are four wards, based at the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury.

 

The Committee will hear from Oxford Health representatives.

The Director of Public Health produces an annual report and the last annual report entitled “Mental Health Matters” was issued in December 2023.  It highlighted the importance of mental health for our health and wellbeing and outlined some key areas of recommendation.  This item provides the Committee with an opportunity to review the progress made in implementing these recommendations.
