We the undersigned petition the council to Install pedestrian crossing facilities at the Intersection of Boundary Road, Taplow Road, and Hitcham Road in Taplow.

We urge the council to install a zebra crossing at the junction of Boundary Road, Hitcham Road, and Taplow Road to address urgent pedestrian safety concerns.

This busy junction is used by many pedestrians, including elderly and disabled residents, but lacks safe crossing infrastructure. Pedestrians face long waiting times, speeding vehicles, and drivers who fail to yield. Overgrown trees at the corner further obstruct visibility, increasing the risk of accidents.

Installing a zebra crossing would significantly enhance safety and demonstrate the council’s commitment to creating a pedestrian-friendly community.
