Safer Buckinghamshire Board

Description

The Safer Buckinghamshire Board is the Community Safety Partnership for Buckinghamshire, as defined in the Crime and Disorder Act (1998) and other relevant legislation. Key functions of the Board include are to agree community safety priorities for Buckinghamshire, undertake public engagement and a strategic assessment of community safety to inform its priorities and also maintain a community safety plan (the Safer Buckinghamshire Plan) to deliver the priorities.

Legislation defines the statutory membership of the Board: - the local authority (Buckinghamshire Council), the Police, the Fire & Rescue Service, the Clinical Commissioning Group and Probation Service. Other organisations are invited to participate in the board, either as regular attendees or for specific issues.
