To approve as a correct record the Minutes of 13 September 2018 (Copy attached as an Appendix)

 

Minutes:

Members considered the Minutes from the previous meeting and in relation to Minute 2 (Quarterly Performance Report 2018-19 – Quarter 1) commented that their discussions had included the following:

 

a)    Overall number of planning applications

b)    Communication to Members on applications

c)    Individual cases where updates had not been received be referred to the Group Manager, Henry Allmand for investigation and response

 

RESOLVED –

 

That the Minutes of the meeting held on 13 September 2018 be approved as a correct record subject to the inclusion of the above comments.

That the applications submitted under the Town and Country Planning Act, 1990 (as amended) and the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order, 2015 be determined as set out below.

That the application be Deferred for a site visit at 9.30am on Tuesday 9 October and for the application to be brought back to committee for determination at a later date. Members that indicated they could attend were Councillors Fealey, Glover, Morgan, Rand and Town.

 

Note: Councillor A Bond declared a personal interest as a neighbour of the Applicant.

 

Councillor N Glover declared a personal interest as a County Councillor for the Ward.

RESOLVED –

 

That the application be Approved as the proposed development secured existing employment and generates additional employment opportunities thus supporting and expanding economic growth. Furthermore, the proposed development would not have an unacceptable impact on the character and appearance of the countryside as no ‘important views’ would be compromised. As such the proposal complies with Policies GP35 and RA29 of the Aylesbury Vale District Local Plan.
