The Member has taken the following decision.

The decision will take effect on Wednesday 28 May 2008

Title

Amendment of provision of ICT facilities for Members with no increase in budget.

Decision Taken

That the arrangements for the provision of ICT facilities to Members be amended to allow Members to choose one of the following options:

1.

Allowance for PC & Broadband (as current).

2.

WDC loaned laptops and Broadband allowance.

3.

Blackberry

Reasons for Decision

In order to increase the choice of facilities to assist Members with their work as Councillors. To continue with the status quo would not widen options for all Members.

Consultation Undertaken

A questionnaire was sent to Members and followed up by telephone calls. A number of issues were raised by Members in their responses which were considered by the Customer Services PAG on 12 February 2008.
