Disposal of Tancred Road Tree Belt

Decision Taken

That the disposal of Tancred Road Tree Belt be negotiated by the Head of Property Services in consultation with the Head of Community.

Reasons for Decision

The Tancred Road Tree Belt in High Wycombe has no amenity value to the local community as it has no public access and is land locked.  The Council has limited access to maintain the tree belt and it is therefore recommended that disposal to a purchaser be negotiated by the Head of Property Services.

Consultation Undertaken

Officers in Legal Services and Property Services have been consulted.  The Cabinet Member for Younger and Older People has been consulted and supports this proposal.
