For many years there have been discussions about the organisational processes of DAR.  Following an I&R Report, together with no signed SLA and non-production of a business plan means that declining would mean DAR possibly closing, the full costs being born by the users or a different service being supported

Reasons for Decision

To provide funding for organisations operating within the District for the benefit of local residents.

Consultation Undertaken

Consultation was carried out in Spring 2007 with the wider voluntary and community sector.  Further consultation was carried out with the Infrastructure Services providers to amend systems following the review process.
