The Member has taken the following decision.

The decision will take effect on Tuesday 13 February 2007.

Title

Naming of a new street.

 

DECISION REPORT CONTAINS EXEMPT INFORMATION

i) The decision report is not for publication by virtue of paragraph 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 and that ii) the public interest in disclosure does not outweigh i) above because the distress that could be caused to the individual is not commensurate with the benefits of disclosure to the public.

 

Decision Taken

To issue the name of ‘Alan Court’ to the new street off Marlow Road, Stokenchurch.

Reasons for Decision

There has been disagreement between the applicant and the Stokenchurch Parish Council as to the naming of this new street.

Consultation Undertaken

Stokenchurch Parish Council are consulted on all street names proposed by applicants (developers) within their parish.  This process has led to the aforesaid disagreement.  The Cabinet Member for Planning and Sustainability has considered all the views expressed in respect of this issue and has decided that the name proposed by the applicant ‘Alan Court’ to be the most appropriate in the circumstances.
