Reasons for Decision

Village Design Statements, part of the Countryside Agency’s Design in the Countryside programme, are a means by which local residents may influence the planning process in a positive and proactive way.  Once adopted, the Village Design Statement may be a material consideration when determining planning applications.

Consultation Undertaken

This survey was subject to a six-week period of public consultation, the results of which have been tabulated, with amendments made to the text as appropriate.  A total of five consultation responses were received, commenting on a range of issues.
