Reasons for Decision

The SPD – Living Within Our Limits, enforces policy set out within the core strategy of the Wycombe Development Framework (WDF) for reducing the use of natural resources in the construction of new development and for reducing carbon emissions throughout the life of that development.

Consultation Undertaken

The draft SPD was consulted on in accordance with the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004; the Town and Country (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004; the Town and Country (Local Development) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2008; the Town and Country (Local Development) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and the Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) for the WDF. Statutory consultees were those considered to be affected by the SPD as listed in the SCI: other non-statutory consultees were those listed in the SCI who were considered to be affected by the SPD. Responses were received from: the Environment Agency, the Coal Authority, Thames Valley Police, the Chiltern Society, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Biodiversity Partnership, South East England Partnership Board, Aylesbury Vale District Council and Chilterns Management Board.
