The Member has proposed the following decision:

Title

Flood Risk Action Group (FRAG).

 

Subject

Flood Risk Action Group (FRAG).  Following last winter's flooding in the Thames Flood Plain the Environment Agency in consultation with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has set up a FRAG with an independent chairperson to review the event and identify any actions necessary to  improve the response to a future event.

Each participating local Authority has been invited to nominate a Member to take part in the work of the group.

 

Proposed Decision

Cllr Bill Jennings to be the WDC representative on the FRAG.

To provide representation on the FRAG.

 

Consultation Undertaken

The FRAG is aimed to provide consultation with a range of community groups including Town and Parish Councils and a variety of interest groups.
