Reasons for Decision

Contribution towards the core costs of selected voluntary organisations operating within the District for the benefit of local residents.

Consultation Undertaken

Widespread consultation has taken place in relation to the Annual Revenue Grant process as part of the Best Value Review (see above).  All but one or two organisations have made favourable comments about the current application form.  Many of the improvements suggested were incorporated in the 2004/05 process, most notably the availability of an electronic Application Form upon request.
