That the Council’s maximum limit on the price of property that applicants under the Cash Incentive Scheme may purchase on the open market be increased from £136,000 to £157,000, to reflect the general increase in property prices since the limit was last reviewed in July 2000.

6/2002

To rescind the decision to appoint Cllr Mrs S J Crook and Cllr Mrs G A Jones to the Chilterns AONB Transport Strategy Panel.

7/2002

To pay a 3% cost of living award (the current offer made by Employer Representatives to Trade Unions) to officers covered by the National Joint Council for Local Government Services agreement (officers on Grades 1 to 9) pending the resolution of the 2002 national pay claim.

To pay a 3% pay award to officers covered by the Joint Negotiating Committee for Chief Officers of Local Authorities (officers Grades 10 and above) pending the resolution of the NJC 2002 national pay claim.

That the District Council makes available the sum of £917,411, via Local Authority Social Housing Grant, to the Maidenhead and District Housing Association, to enable them to progress the proposed 20x1 bed affordable flats (12 for rent, 8 for shared ownership sale) in return for 100% initial nomination rights and 75% thereafter.

That the Council’s maximum limit on the price of  property that applicants under the Cash Incentive Scheme may purchase on the open market be increased from £136,000 to £157,000, to reflect the general increase in property prices since the limit was last reviewed, in July 2000.

 

 

Reason for Decision:

Market prices in this area have increased considerably since the last time the price limit was reviewed. To remain attractive to potential applicants, it is considered that the price limit needs to be raised to reflect local price increases.
