(Title of Report): Walters Ash Farm Barns, Hughenden: Urgent Works Notice Implementation

Ward(s) affected: Naphill-cum-Bradenham

Decision:

Implementation of Section 54 Urgent Works Notice and provision for recovering the Council’s costs from the owners. The expected temporary costs subject to receipt of tenders after this decision is confirmed will be in the region of £15,000.

 

Reason for Decision:

To secure the temporary repair of the neglected Grade II listed barns and the recovery of costs from the owners.

 

Consultation Undertaken:

This is a statutory requirement and not subject to public consultation. However, the actions to date have been taken in consultation and with the knowledge and approval of the Local Member, and the Parish Council have been informed and kept informed on the matter, as has the Council for the Protection of Rural England local branch.
