To appoint the following Members to serve on the bodies as listed below until May 2003:

Cllr John Savage (replacing Cllr Mrs P Priestley) to the Association of Councils of the Thames Valley Region.

Cllr Mike Appleyard (replacing DAE Cox) to the Bucks Association for Mental Health.

Cllr Mrs Audrey Jones to the National Housebuilding & Town Planning Council Southern Regional Executive Committee

Cllr Miss Sarah Marshall to the Thames Valley Planning and Amenities Forum.

Cllr Mrs Sandra Crook (replacing Cllr DAE Cox) to Wycombe Youth Action.

(Title of Report): Newlands Car Park Initiatives

Decision:

To carry out improvements to Newlands Multi-Storey Car Park. Work is to be funded from the agreed provision within the Capital Programme For “Car Park Schemes”.

 

 

 

 

Reason for Decision:

To enhance the environment of the car park and to make it more welcoming and customer friendly and to compliment works being carried out in the Octagon by Stannifer and by Arriva in the Bus Station.

 

 

 

 

Consultation Undertaken:

In preparing these proposals consultation has taken place with Stannifer (Octagon owners), Arriva, Phoenix Working Party, Project Phoenix Cabinet Committee and relevant services teams (Parking Services, Building Maintenance and Cleansing).
