Term Maintenance Contract – Appointment of Working Party

Decision:

1.

A working Party be set up consisting of 6 Members and 2 Wycombe Tenants’ Group members, together with appropriate officers to assist in the tendering process, and

2.

The following Members be appointed to the Working Party:- Councillors I L McEnnis, A E Hill, R A Hussein, B R Pollock, Mrs A M Stenner and R Wilson.

Reason for Decision:

It is proposed to improve the structure and terms of the Term Maintenance Contract incorporating ideas put forward by the Best Value Repairs and Maintenance Service Improvement Plan.

The appointment of the Working Party will assist in the development of the contract specification, selection of tenderers and tender evaluation process.

Consultation Undertaken:

Tenant Group representatives will be included on the Working Party and their comments and ideas taken into account throughout the contract process.

To appoint Councillors R Hussein, Mrs S J Crook and W J Bendyshe-Brown and Cllr R J Bate (Standing Deputy) to the Bucks County Council Local Area Committee until May 2003; and

2.

To appoint Councillor J A Savage to the Thames Valley Energy Agency Management Board until May 2003.

Reason for Decision:

To ensure appropriate representation of the Council on these outside bodies.
