Medmenham Conservation Area Character Survey

Proposed Decision:: To adopt the Medmenham Conservation Area Character Survey as Supplementary Planning Guidance

Reason for Proposed Decision:

There are at present 32 conservation area character surveys completed in Wycombe District, all approved by Members as an aid for development control decisions and adopted as supplementary planning guidance.  Once adopted, the character surveys are taken into  account as a material consideration in deciding planning applications.

Consultation: this was subjected to a 6 week period of public consultation, with amendments made to the text as appropriate.

Chiltern Hundreds Purchase Scheme of 1 Bed Properties for Ex-offenders - Safer Communities Supported Housing.

Proposed Decision:

That the additional sum of £55,455 be made available via Local Authority Social Housing Grant to Chiltern Hundreds Housing Association, to enable them to continue their proposed acquisition of 6 individual self-contained one bedroom properties for ex-offenders, subject to all necessary approvals being obtained.

Consultation Undertaken:

Consultation for the scheme of re-provision was undertaken with local Community Safety  Partnership in 2001, which was supportive of the proposals.
