Buckingham Accessible Services Partnership – Interim Arrangements

Proposed Decision:

That the interim partnership agreement, substantially in the draft form attached to the full report, be approved pending the operation of a formal Joint Committee.

Reason for Decision:

To regulate the working f the Partnership pending the operation of a formal Joint Committee with effect from the new Council year in May 2003..

Consultation Undertaken:

Consultation on the detailed draft agreement has taken place with officer and Member representatives of the 5 authorities concerned.  Both officer and member representatives support in principle the joint committee, preceded by the interim arrangements option.

Renewal of Car Park Security Contract

Ward(s) affected: High Wycombe Central Wards,  Marlow Central wards, Bourne End cum Hedsor, Princes Risborough

Proposed Decision:

That the Car Park Security Contract be retendered for commencement of new contract in April 2003; the level of service to be as existing.

Reason for Decision:

The existing contract ends on 31 March 20023.  The contract has been in place since 1 April 2001 and provides security patrols, primarily in the High Wycombe town centre car parks with lesser cover in Marlow, Princes Risborough and Bourne End.  In addition the contractor locks Newlands Car Park up every evening.
