Purpose:
The acting Headteacher and governing board are
consulting on a proposal that from 1 September 2019, the current
Early Years and Foundation stage provision is run until Section 27
regulations. This would mean that if the proposal is agreed there
would still be high quality Early Years and Foundation stage
provision, but that it would be run by a governor and staff
committee, rather than the present arrangement, where the provision
is run solely by the school.
The governing body is consulting parents, the local community and
widely on the proposed change.
The cabinet member for education and skills will be making a final
decision by August 2019

AGREED that, as the Local Authority have followed the Department for Education statutory guidance, permission is granted for the proposed change of age range at the school.
AGREED that the change takes place from 1 September 2019.
