Purpose:

The Highway Services Policy sets out the organisation’s risk-based approach and describe how its Service Levels are mapped against the Council’s Strategic Aims and Objectives. This is required to align the organisation to the principles of the latest Code of Practice - Well Managed Highways. The new code requires Service Levels to be based on local needs and priorities and requires authorities to manage their service and network risks.
