Terms agreed with tenant for new lease of
whole of Brunel Engine Shed, High Wycombe.
Reasons for the decision:
The property has been developed to shell and
core only and we have agreed terms with an occupier to complete the
development and take occupation. The proposed letting will generate
a revenue to support delivery of the Council’s services and
meeting the Council’s obligations under Section 123 of the
Local Government Act 1954.
Alternative options considered:
Could consider freehold disposal of the site
however this would not generate a revenue receipt which the
proposed transaction achieves.
