To grant a one year lease to Buckinghamshire
Healthcare NHS Trust for the
provision of community clinical services
Reasons for the decision:
The property is currently vacant.
We have been negotiating with the Trust for some time to find a
suitable venue in Friars
Square for the provision of community services. This is a joint
venture between,
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Oxford Mental Health NHS
Trust and the Council.
Locating these valuable services within the shopping centre, will
increase footfall to the
centre, and in turn is expected to produce additional income for
the retailers as well as car
parking income for the Council.
Alternative options considered:
We have looked at other available units within
Friars Square, but this was agreed as being the
best location.
