To proceed to Statutory Consultation with the
Aylesbury Road, Aston Clinton Waiting Restrictions Scheme
Reasons for the decision:
For avoiding danger to persons or other
traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the
likelihood of any such danger arising” and “for
facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class
of traffic (including pedestrians).
Alternative options considered:
All other options were considered at the
Informal Consultation stage; however, they were discounted as they
would not resolve the parking issue. All other options which were
considered would also involve a Statutory Consultation process. If
we do not proceed with the proposals, it could result in the
continuation of potentially unsafe parking which is currently
affecting driver visibility.
