Grant a LTA’54 lease of Moorcroft Farm including
approximately 24.11 acres and all
buildings together with the Farmhouse (excluding cellar) for a term
of 5 years for residential
and livery purposes.
Reasons for the decision:
This is a continuation of the letting to the
existing tenant who has occupied the property for
a considerable time. The new lease would incorporate the farmhouse.
Under the new terms
Moorcroft Farm will be let at a market rent and on market
terms.
Alternative options considered:
Another option would be to end the existing
tenancy at will with the property becoming
vacant. This would lead to a void period and the reliability of a
future tenant being unknown.
