To terminate the Farm Business Tenancy for Top-Park – By-pass
Land to allow for tree planting.
Reasons for the decision:
The 35.31 acres of land is required by the
Council for the 2024 tree planting season. In order to facilitate
this control of the land the tenancy is required to be
terminated.
Alternative options considered:
An alternative option would be to not plant
trees on the land and continue with the tenanted occupation. This
would not have a detrimental effect on the land; however, this
would not fulfil the Councils’ tree planting program target
and the Governments’ national ambition to increase the
planting of trees across the UK.
Wards Affected: Great Missenden;
Details of any conflict of interest declared: There are no known conflicts of interest.
