Decision:
1. The proposal is at the request of
Buckinghamshire Council’s Transport Strategy department which
has been formed and agreed with the input of the Parish Council.
The proposal has arisen as S106 funding has been secured for
highway and transport improvements.
2. It is proposed that a road hump (raised speed table) is
constructed at the existing zebra crossing point, to act as a
traffic calming feature near Hart Moor Close on B482 Marlow Road,
Stokenchurch. The aim is to improve road safety for vulnerable
users and address
concerns of inappropriate vehicle speeds.
Reasons for the decision:
Transport for Buckinghamshire has been
commissioned by Buckinghamshire Council’s Transport Strategy
department to undertake a statutory consultation and detailed
design of the proposed traffic calming feature.
