To apply the RICS CIL index to the CIL Annual Charging Schedule and to apply the new rates from the 1st of January 2021

Reasons for the decision:

Indexation of the CIL rates with the RICS CIL index is a government requirement as set out in the CIL regulations 2010 (as amended). To ensure compliance with the regulations the new rates will be applied from 1st of January 2021

Given that the indexation is a government requirement of the CIL regulations 2010 (as amended) there is no alternative option
