That following consideration of representations to the consultation on the HW8 planning brief, 6 June – 18 July 2022, the Head of Policy and Compliance has exercised his delegated authority to publish the finalised HW8 planning brief.

Reasons for the decision:

The draft HW8 development brief has been published on the Council’s website following consideration of representations made during the public consultation, held from 6 June to the 18 July 2022.

Alternative options considered:

To not publish this decision. This option would mean that the developers, the Council and the public would not benefit from the consultation and refinement of the development brief in their scrutiny and decision making.
