Councillor M Flys: Planning application PL/24/1822/FA – declared an interest due to business that was unrelated to Council business, Councillor Wallace, the owner of the property in question, was employed by one of his companies. He stated that before this item began, he would withdraw from the Council Chamber for the duration of the item.

Demolition of school staff accommodation building and construction of new dining hall and associated landscaping works.

This application was the subject of a site visit.

Members noted the Update.

Members voted in favour of the motion to defer and delegate the application to the Director of Planning and Environment to grant planning permission, subject to the conditions set out in the main report and the Update report and the satisfactory prior completion of a Legal Agreement relating to securing the biodiversity net gain. If the Legal Agreement could not be completed, the application be refused for such reasons as considered appropriate.

Resolved: that the application be deferred and delegated for the reasons as stated above.
