The construction of two outdoor all weather floodlit padel tennis courts.

This application was the subject of a site visit.

Members noted the written update.

Members voted unanimously in favour of the motion to approve the application subject to the additional condition as laid out in the Update report.

It was proposed by Councillor S Chhokar and seconded by Councillor W Matthews

Resolved: that the application be approved subject to the additional condition as laid out in the Update report.

Variation of condition 1 (Operating hours) of planning permission PL/20/3842/FA (Retrospective permission to change site use to mix use (Sui Generis) to comprise storage or distribution (Use Class B8), offices (Use Class E(g)(i)) and light industrial (Use Class E(g)(iii)) to allow for an extension of operating hours.

Members voted unanimously in favour of the motion to approve the application subject to the conditions as laid out in the officer’s report and the amendment of Condition 1 as laid out in the Update report.

Members also requested that the Council’s Enforcement Team be contacted in relation to the additional storage container units which had been seen when the Members visited the site. 

It was proposed by Councillor S Chhokar and seconded by Councillor G Sandy.

          Resolved: that the application be approved subject to the revision of Condition 1 and all other conditions as laid out in the officer’s report.
