A lot of the houses, especially towards the upper end of Lakes lane where it meets London End, do not have access to off-street parking. We find it challenging on a daily basis to not only park outside our own homes but to actually park anywhere within a reasonable distance. This is largely due to individuals using Lakes Lane to park in order to use the high street and surrounding roads which reduces the capacity for the residents of Lakes Lane. It has become increasingly difficult, especially for people with young children or physical impediments, to access our homes easily and I feel that implementing parking regulations is warranted.
